The Band

Teclao is a flamenco-jazz quartet founded in Montpellier, born from the friendship of four unconventional musicians: Miguel Ramírez (vocals, palmas, poetry), Jules Meneboo (guitar, duende), David Rekkab (piano, Korg MS-20, harmony) and Olivier Roizès (percussion, compás).

Their debut album Odisea (January 2025, recorded at NOVASON studio in Nîmes) brings together ten 100 % original compositions at the crossroads of flamenco, contemporary jazz and song. The wooden tones of guitars, pianos and percussion make flamenco poetry resonate with a very contemporary urgency.

On stage, the four personalities fully reveal their complicity, transforming each concert into an intense and vibrant moment of sharing with the audience — the natural culmination of Odisea. Between 5 and 15 % of the audience buys the CD after their concerts, an exceptional indicator in today's industry.

Bloom — beyond the concert, Teclao is creating an interdisciplinary staged live performance directed by Leonardo Montecchia (choreographer), with Nicolas Buisson (lighting): a fully scripted show conceived for the stage — distinct from the Odisea concert.
